Sturdy spikes of smoky, purple-blue blooms appear from summer to fall. Green foliage is aromatic and resembles black licorice when crushed. One of the easiest perennials to grow for late summer color. Some Agastache will self sow to spread, so deadhead by removing faded flowers to prevent seeding. Well-drained soil is a must.
