Like Medusa's snake hair, it has grey-green narrow, twisty foliage and buds that look like snakes. Produces 2" round clusters of light-purple flowers above a low mound of narrow, grey-green foliage. Butterflies and bees loves the flowers' sweet nectar. Grows best in average soil conditions.
