ALLIUM sch. Forescate

Light rose-purple flowers bloom in late spring atop low mounds of light green, grassy leaves. Both flowers and leaves are edible. The flowers are great for fresh cut or dried arrangements. It's best to remove spent blooms to prevent self-seeding, as the resulting plant will revert to regular chives. Drought tolerant once established.
