White, globe-like flowers bloom in spring on stems held above green grass-like foliage. Plants tolerate salt exposure well making them useful along walkways that are salted in winter. The evergreen plants form mounds that work well as a groundcover or edging in the perennial garden and also great for the rock garden or container. Plants grow best in well-drained soil.
