Jersey Giant is a vigorous growing male hybrid that produces 7 to 9 inch spears that are green with purple bracts. Wonderful flavor and one of the highest yielding varieties. The most winter hardy asparagus with great disease resistance to crown rot and fusarium wilt. Plants provide greatest yield when grown in well-drained soil and full sun.
