Fragrant, ivory-white plumes appear atop petite mounds of medium green foliage in early to midsummer. The Younique series of Astilbe offers cultivars that are quite floriferous, often double the number of flowers of the typical Astilbe, and very compact plants. A beautiful selection for container plantings or small garden situations. Makes a nice cut flower.
