A popular spring-flowering rock garden perennial with dark pinkish-red flowers. The flowers form a wall of color for several weeks atop a low carpet of evergreen leaves. Plants will benefit from a light shearing after flowering to encourage a thick mound of foliage. An excellent choice for the rock garden or to cascade over a wall.
