BAPTISIA australis minor

A wonderfully compact version of the straight species that is distinguished by having larger blue flowers on plants that are smaller with shorter stems and smaller gray-green leaves. The flowers mature into inflated seed pods which turn charcoal color and add ornamental interest to the garden. The flowers and seed pods are great in fresh and dried arrangements. A long-lived perennial native to the Eastern U.S.

Not available for the 2024 season.
