Lilac-purple flowers form large, 8-12” panicles in late summer. The young, gray foliage matures to green over time. A wonderful plant to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Plants benefit from a late-winter pruning. Often slow to break dormancy in spring. Prefers well-drained soil.
