Jackmanii Superba' produces showy, deep-violet flowers that are a bit broader than 'Jackmanii'. Plants are more floriferous and bloom throughout most of the summer. Prune by cutting down to about 12-18" in early spring as flowers appear on the new growth. Clematis grow best when the shoots receive full sun and the roots remain shaded and cool. Grows 10-12'.
