Green leaves have creamy-white stripes and provide a backdrop for the dainty, white, bell-shaped flowers that bloom in spring. The cute flowers have a wonderfully sweet fragrance. Lily of the valley will spread by rhizomes to form nice naturalized colonies in the garden. Plants perform best in partial shade and moist, fertile soils. When flowering becomes sparse plants should be divided.
