Single, fringed, cool pink blooms are held high above mounds of icy blue foliage in early summer. The flowers have a slight fragrance and will occasionally repeat bloom in fall. Mountain Mist is one of the most glaucous silver-blue foliaged varieties of dianthus and the foliage remains attractive throughout the year. Plants perform best when planted in well-drained soil.
