A wonderful plant for adding color and texture to the garden, Blackbird has striking foliage that emerges red and matures to a deep purple. Yellow-green bracts appear in late spring and contrast nicely with the dark foliage. Best foliage color is attained when planted in full sun. Plants are densely branched and require little maintenance. Ideal for hot and dry sites.
