New shoots emerge flushed with burgundy and change to grey-green as they age to evergreen clumps of leathery foliage. Lime-green bracts are an attractive feature in late spring through early summer. A nice slow spreading groundcover. Excellent in containers. Prefers a sunny, well-drained site.
