FERN, Cinnamon

A large, clump-forming fern with upright green leaves that grow from a rhizome that grows at or just below the ground. The lacy green fronds arch outwards in a vase-like shape. Separate spore-bearing fronds emerge in the center of the clump in early spring and quickly turn brown. They resemble Cinnamon sticks, hence the common name Cinnamon fern! Plants grow best when planted in moist, shady conditions. Deciduous.

Not available for the 2024 season.
