Charming, lacy leaves have a sweet, spicy scent that has sometimes been likened to that of filberts. Deep violet-lavender to reddish flowers bloom over a long period in summer on plants that are ideal in patio containers where the scented foliage can be enjoyed. Plants require little care and grow best in well-drained soil. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
