Medium green ruffled leaves have toothed edges and a nutty, almond-like scent. The pungent leaves provide a backdrop for showy pink flowers that have white throats and burgundy stippling on the upper petals. The leaves can be used in potpourri, jellies, salads, baked goods, and tea.
