A lovely alpine plant with dense, mat-forming, evergreen leaves that have small, blue, puffy ball-shaped blooms in late spring and early summer. Plants rarely require pruning, but if so, be sure to prune only after flowering not in the spring or fall. Plants require excellent drainage, especially in winter.
