GOOSEBERRY Pixwell

Medium sized, oval-shaped fruit turns pink when ripe, typically in midsummer. Pixwell is a self-fruiting variety and the fruit will turn pink when ripe. Pixwell is an almost thorn free variety with fruit that hangs one inch below the branches which makes for easy picking. The berries have wonderful flavor and are commonly used in pies or jelly. Plants should be pruned in summer and winter to produce a high yield of fruit. Grows well in average well-drained soil.
