Grass-ACORUS americanus

This native grass has sweet, spicy-scented leaves that have been used by Native Americans extensively for its medicinal value. The rhizomes can be a substitute for ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Ideal for planting in swampy or bog-like areas to aid in stabilization of the water's edge. Plants will tolerate periodic dry conditions, but not long periods of drought.

Not available for the 2024 season.
