Grass-ACORUS gram.variegat.

Semi-evergreen, iris-like tufts of cream and green variegated foliage decorate this marginally aquatic perennial. Plants thrive in moist or wet soils and are commonly grown in water gardens or boggy areas of the garden. Insignificant, sedge-like flower spikes have tiny greenish flowers that bloom from late spring to early summer. The flowers mature into fleshy berries. Scorched leaf tips will occur if soils are allowed to dry out.

Not available for the 2024 season.
