Grass-ANDROPOGON ger. Red October PP26283

Narrow deep green leaves are marked with red highlights in spring. As the seasons progress and fall approaches, the red increases and deepens to a beautiful burgundy. After the first frost, foliage turns candy-apple-red mixed with scarlet. Plants have an overall upright habit and make quite a statement in the landscape given their tall stature. Tolerant of poor soil and drought.
