Grass-BOUTELOUA gracilis

Grass-BOUTELOUA gracilis Grass-BOUTELOUA gracilis

This clump-forming grass is native to Missouri and typically found in dry soil prairies. Narrow leaves give way to unique reddish-purple seed heads in summer. The flowers age to tan and are attached at right angles to the stems creating a unique display! Foliage will turn a purplish-tan upon frost. Great for containers. Easy to grow in average, well-drained soil.

Not available for the 2024 season.
