Grass-FESTUCA g. Boulder Blue

A cool season grass that is often regarded as the bluest of the blue fescues, Boulder Blue has narrow, glaucous, powder-blue foliage on compact and tidy mounds. A heavy blooming variety with seed heads that appear in summer and age to a nice tan color and persist through winter. Plants are tolerant of drought, heat and poor soil. Plants are happiest in dry, well-drained soil.
