A hard-to-find Japanese selection of Hakone grass that features green foliage that is infused with wonderful red tones with the onset of cool fall temperatures. A lovely selection that creates arching mounds of foliage that have a cascading appearance. Insignificant flower spikes in summer and early fall. Plants grow well in moist, rich soil.
