Grass-MISCANTHUS s. Purpurascens

Given the common name Flame Grass because of its wonderful foliage coloration! Light green foliage turns a beautiful reddish-orange color with the onset of cooler fall temperatures. Magenta flower plumes appear in fall and turn to fluffy white wands as they age. Wonderful when planted in large groups where the magnificent color creates a wonderful show! Cut plants back in early spring.
