Grass-PANICUM v. Northwind Grass-PANICUM v. Northwind Grass-PANICUM v. Northwind

Wide blades of olive-green foliage creates a wonderful vertical structure in the garden. Northwind is a vigorous grower that is tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions but grows best in sandy loam. Straw-colored flower plumes appear in fall and are held nice and erect above the foliage. Foliage is a lovely golden-yellow in fall. Cut plants back in early spring.
