Grass-SCHIZACHYRIUM s. The Blues

A lovely blue grass that is tolerant of summer heat and humidity! Little Bluestem has wonderfully colored blue foliage in spring that transitions to a burgundy-red with the onset of cooler fall temperatures. Purplish-bronze flowers mature to soft, silvery seed heads that are attached to the stems and appear in late summer and continue through fall. Plants grow well in average garden soil.
