HELLEBORUS Brandywine™

HELLEBORUS Brandywine™ HELLEBORUS Brandywine™

A strain of Hellebores introduced from hellebore breeder David Culp, Brandywine is recognized as a superior seed strain. Plants boast flower colors in shades of reds, pinks, apricots and picotees. There are various flower forms including some doubles and some anemone types. Tough evergreen plants adapt well to sun or shade though they do require a woodland type of soil or at least soil amended with organic matter or humus. Lenten Rose is one of the first perennials to bloom in the early spring, often when there is still snow on the ground. Remove any older rough looking foliage in late winter. A reliable deer resistant perennial.

Not available for the 2024 season.
