Large, almost 5", dark-red flowers are ruffled and fragrant and have a narrow yellow band and green throat. The flowers bloom in midsummer on sturdy, well-budded stems. Daylilies are tough perennials that can survive less than ideal conditions including poor, dry soil, slopes, and planting under Black Walnut trees. Tetraploid.
