Large, fragrant, red flowers have a yellow and green throat. Flowers begin to bloom in midsummer and continue through fall on heavily budded plants. Daylilies are tough perennials that can survive less than ideal conditions including poor, dry soil, slopes, and planting under Black Walnut trees.
