HIBISCUS var. Cranberry Crush PP21984

Near black buds open to reveal beautiful 7-8" scarlet-red flowers that have overlapping petals. 'Cranberry Crush' is an indeterminate bloomer, meaning the flowers are produced at the nodes all along the stems, not only at the growing tip. The flowers bloom from midsummer to early fall and a set off nicely against glossy, maple-like, deep-green leaves. Plants exhibit a sturdy, upright habit that adds a tropical feel to the garden. Remember, hibiscus emerge late in spring and some years Japanese Beetles are problematic pests that enjoy devouring the foliage! Plant in moist, well-drained soil.

Not available for the 2024 season.
