HORSERADISH

Cooks often use the term “horseradish” to refer to the grated root of the horseradish plant mixed with vinegar. The plants sport large green leaves that are topped with white flowers on tall scapes. Allow generous spacing when planted and site in a well-drained area. Plant in full sun to partial shade. The 2011 International Herb Association Herb of the Year!
