HOSTA Brutus

From hybridizer Doug Beilstein of HostaWorks (our Assistant General Manager, Megan's Dad) comes Brutus, a wonderful selection with broad, dark-green leaves that have beautiful, ruffled, piecrust-like edges and thick substance. The leaves have very prominent veins and some puckering. Slow to medium growth-rate, but once mature Brutus' leaves can grow as large as 16"! Lavender flowers in summer. Hostas adapt well to varying conditions but grow best in moist soil. Their foliage provides wonderful color and texture to the garden! Mature plant size is 3' tall by 5' wide, flowers to 4'.

Not available for the 2024 season.
