HUMULUS lupulus Aureus

HUMULUS lupulus Aureus HUMULUS lupulus Aureus

Vibrant, golden, serrated foliage is quite coarse and grows quickly to form twining vines that brighten the garden or garden structure. Plants are either male or female, the female plants have greenish flowers that are borne in small spikes that resemble cones. The flowers mature in summer and have a pine-like fragrance. Hops, which are the dried ripe cones of the female flowers, are commonly used by breweries as an ingredient to flavor and preserve beer. Both male and female plants grow quickly. Plant in full sun for best gold color. [Gender not specified or guaranteed].
