This dense, ball-shaped plant is a great alternative to Boxwood. Gem Box features small dark leaves that are tipped in red during the spring. The plants are full all the way to the ground and do not show bare branches that many other inkberry holly cultivars do. Tolerant of salt and wet sites. A tough, native evergreen.
