Lemongrass is a tropical grass that has a subtle citrus flavor and can be dried, powdered, or used fresh. An excellent component of teas and curries, the leaves are also suitable to use for flavoring poultry, vegetables, and fish. Clumps should be planted in moist, loamy soils in full sun or part shade, in an area free of frost. Best treated as an annual.
