MARJORAM, Sweet

A relative of oregano, the flavor of sweet marjoram has hints of oregano. Small, gray-green, felt-like leaves have a clean, sweet scent, and can be used fresh or dried in a variety of culinary dishes. Tiny white flowers bloom in summer on clustered spikes. Plants perform best in well-drained soil. Best treated as an annual.
