NEPETA yunnanensis

Lavender-blue flowers with unique spotted petals bloom in summer on this vigorous growing species. Plants tend to self seed so cut back after flowering to promote lush flowers and foliage and to control seedlings. A nice plant for the sunny mixed border. Plants perform best in rich, moist soil with some protection from the elements. Attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.
