PAEONIA Delavan Rose

Japanese-type flowers have beautiful deep pink outer guard petals that surround a creamy white center with soft pink in the middle. The 5" wide blooms are slightly fragrant and bloom in mid to late peony-season. Grow in full sun and rich, well-drained soil. Great for cut flowers! Peonies are extremely long lived and fairly low maintenance plants and are very sensitive to proper planting depth. They should be planted so that the buds are 1" below the soil surface as planting too deep may result in lack of flowering.
