PAEONIA ITOH, First Arrival

Very large, lavender-pink, semi-double to double flowers have yellow stamens. The flowers soften in color as they mature. This selection forms an upright bush of lush green leaves. Itoh peonies are a hybrid between the Tree Peony and Garden Peony. Their blooms and foliage resemble a tree peony and they are vigorous growers with thicker stems that are ideal for holding the blooms upright. Plants are very floriferous, often with up to 50 flowers once mature.
