PAEONIA Roland

A mid peony-season bloomer, 'Roland' is compact, sporting an abundance of single, mildly fragrant, cerise-red flowers with small yellow centers. Peonies are fairly low maintenance and extremely long-lived. Grow in full sun and a rich, well-drained soil. Plant so buds are only 1" below soil level. Planting too deep will prevent flowering.
