While not as coarse as other Salvias, the lighter-green colored foliage complements the deep pink flower spikes quite well in summer. 'Rosenwein' has an extended bloom time of 6-8 weeks, and deadheading will keep this plant blooming sporadically well into fall. Plant in well-drained average garden soils.
