SAVORY, Summer

The leaves of Summer Savory have a mild flavor reminiscent of sage and rosemary. Often used in herb butters, to season vegetables, soups and other culinary purposes. Tubular, lavender flowers bloom in summer and early fall. Plants grow best in light, well-drained soil.
