SEMPERVIVUM Commander Hay

A smaller growing cultivar with rosettes of deep red leaves that are tipped in green. Low mounds of fleshy leaves produce baby chicks that appear in a circle around the hen in the middle. Short spikes of pastel pink flowers in summer. Hens and chicks are one of the easiest perennials to grow as they are tolerant of heat and drought. Great for rock gardens, troughs, and walls. Evergreen.
