SQUASH, ACORN, Honey Bear

Small, ridged, acorn fruits have a delicious sweet and starchy flavor. They are the perfect size for a single serving when cut in half. Compact, bushy plants with green leaves resist powdery mildew well. Frost kills the foliage and facilitates harvest, which should occur before a heavy frost. To harvest, cut the stem approximately 1" from the fruit and allow to cure in the sun for 5-7 days to toughen and dry the skin.

Not available for the 2024 season.
