This summer squash produces high yields of dark green zucchinis that are easy to pick as plants have an open habit and spineless stems. For peak flavor, the zucchini should be harvested when approximately 8" long. Disease resistant plants bears fruit all throughout the summer. Plants grow best in well-fertilized sandy soil.
