A lovely blooming deciduous shrub with green foliage and striking hot pink buds that open in late spring to reveal pink blooms. Flowers continue sporadically until frost without deadheading. If pruning is desired do so just after the spring bloom. Plants will adapt to other soil conditions but grow best in well-drained soil in full sun. Great for attracting hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
