AMSONIA t. Storm Cloud

Clusters of periwinkle-blue, star-shaped flowers cover plants in spring and continue blooming for several weeks. Before the flowers appear the plants add interest to the garden as the new growth emerge from dormancy with a near-black stems and dark green leaves with silver veins. A lovely new variety of the US native that is heat and humidity tolerant. An easy to care for and low maintenance perennial that is deer resistant.
