CHAMOMILE, German

Chamomile has long been a staple of the herb garden! Small, white, daisy-like flowers and their apple like fragrance are most familiar for their use in tea. The oil in German Chamomile can be used in beverages, ice cream, candy, baked goods, and chewing gum. Flowers bloom in summer and can be used fresh or dried and are best when harvested the day they open. Plant in well drained soil.
